I have been waking up at 4:45am every morning to go swimming. Well, last night I went to bed at 230 and so was exhausted this morning. I was worried that I wouldnt hear my alarm clock. SO this morning, as soon as I thought I heard my alarm I got up, got dressed, and headed out to the bus stop. When I got to the bus stop there were no light anywhere... and I kept thinking "well, thats strange. But why would friday be any different. The bus should be getting here in the next 5 minutes or so. I just thought maybe the panels that show you the bus routs had not been turned on for some reason. After waiting for 5 minutes I realized it was 4:20! so i got up at 4:10, not 4:45.... im so smart! hehe.... so i just got back home. Think i will take a 30min nap and then head out again. Oh well...
continued....
so i took a "nap" and guess what? I woke up at 6am! and I was like... oh no! I didnt hear my alarm clock!. How did I not hear my alarm clock... i must have been exhausted. So I checked my phone... you know what I did? I had set my alarm at 4:15am not 5:15am. I guess maybe I was just not supposed to go swimming today. I could technically go after school since I will have plenty of time to do so. But I think im just gonna go home and sleep.

It's true
So I had had a conversation with some friends about how apparently the guys in the guys locker room, well, the men i guess if that is what you call them... anyways.. that they would just prop up their leg on the counter and then with the hairdryer dry their pubic hairs. Gross. Well, I had not yet seen this in the women's lockerroom. But this morning, as i got out of the pool and i was changing I saw this woman, who was having a casual conversation with another woman while drying her pubic hairs with the hairdryer... i'm sorry, but thats a bit too much for me. I mean seriously, do you HAVE TO dry your pubic hairs! ... at least trim or something. I mean,.. if you look at most korean women, meaning about 90%, they all have forests down there. I guess I think this should be a no-brainer. It's hair, and you should treat it as such. Meaning... you need to cut it, or trim it at least every once in a while... not just let it grow and grow and have this huge bush thats just gross. Oh well, so yeah. that's my great story of the day. hope you enjoyed

pavor

counting counting counting
Yes counting. I cannot wait to go to italy. I know this might sound bad, but i just wanan get summer camp overwith so i can finally go on vacation. I wanna be finished with my contract so I can go home, get married, work on OUR language school, and be happy. :-)I am SO looking forward to the nice warm beach, to walking at night around the little market places with ivano, to really good pizza and ice cream, to good company/good people,to walking up whenever my eyes feel like opening up instead of waking up to an alarm clock, to ivano's mother's cooking, to getting some rest, to being worry free, to not having to think about school.... just to name a few.
Massage
Not sure if I told you about this but last week I went to get a "thai" massage for the first time. A couple of weeks ago this new massage place opened that is right next to my gym. Every time I would go to the gym i would just look at the door but never actually went in. Then finally, last monday when I went to the gym with Jennyfer after working out we decided to go in and ask for prices. It is 40,000won an hour. Not bad I thought. (then again if you go to thailand i think they say a one hour massage is like 8 bucks or something ridiculously cheap like that. At any rate... so then tuesday I decided to go get a massage. I thought,... you know, ive been working hard, I deserve a massage :-). It was not as intense as I thought it would be, but was nice. The girl literally massaged everything. Starting with my feet, then she spent quite a bit of time on my legs and did my back and my shoulders and my hands and arms and even did my head/ears...yeah. Was nice. Not sure that I would make a habit of going and getting massages, but every once in a while I think it would be alright.
tiny feet
The other day in the subway on my way to karak market station i saw a woman with the tiniest feet ever. She was actually quite short, but her feet were seriously the feet of a 5 year old girl.
Poem of Ivano to me
Io accanto a te, tu vicino a me.

Saying goodbyes
So two of my friends that have been here in corea for a while are getting ready to go to LA so yesterday was their fairwell party. So I headed out to the coex and we met at okims brauhaus which is supposed to be a german place I guess, but not really like it. Anyways... so we were there for a while and chatted and drank some beer, i got to see some of the girls I had not seen since I arrived in korea,... it was good times. Then we headed to another bar to hang out for a bit more and then to a norebang.(singing room) which are super popular in corea. Given, this was my first time in one. You would think that after almost a year of being here I would have already gone to one, but I guess the occasion just never came up. At any rate, it was fun. Not that I would want to do it once a week or something like that. Maybe once every 6 months is fine. And last night was cool. But I am just still more of a salsa dancing scene type of person. So yeah, had a good time, met with some friends. and then we called it a night.

Frustrating day
Why? So I finally had found online that there IS a FedEx in suwon so that I would not have to go all the way to Seoul, which means I would have to wait until saturday to go send the paperwork to the lawyer for ivano's visa. I decided then, that I could make it after school. I told this to a teacher at school and she actually let me leave a bit early so I could go get it done. So I get to suwon station (where the internet said it was) and it is nowhere to be found. So I go to the information center and they tell me the info online is not always correct. It turns out, this FedEx is in Youngtong. I was already meeting with a friend afterwards there (since I would already be there) for lunch, so I couldnt just leave to go to Youngtong because he was already on his way. So we ended up just having lunch. By this time though, I was super frustrated because I had wasted time, and gotten nothing done. But then my friend, who is now studying korean told me to calm down and that he would call this one number the information lady had given me. So he called and he asked where this FedEx was. They told him it was across from this one highschool. So afterwards, we went and took a taxi and walked (in the rain, in the dark) trying to find the fedex so we would know where it was. Note: the lady had told him that if i wanted the stuff to get there by monday, latest tuesday, I would have to drop it off at the latest by 4pm. i work until 430. So I asked him if HE could take it. This is why we wanted to first make sure we found the place. So tomorrow he would know exactly where to go and how to get there. So finally, after walking and searching we found it. Tomorrow he will go get that sent. I am relieved now, but it was still somewhat of a frustrating day, though in the end all turned out ok. I told him to text me when it has officially been sent. So I am hoping everything will get to the US by monday so that we can finally get on with this visa process!

Super emocionante

Kids Say hello

very common for this to happen. The kids love saying whatever it is that they know or have memorized. For example, many of my students will come to me and say "Hello teacher, how are you?Fine thank you and you? ummmm... bye. nice to meet you" (they always confuse "nice to see you and nice to meet you")
Verbotene Liebe
Jetzt fuer meine deutsche Leser.
