Picutres of my new place & First dinner out

Yesterday was an exceptionally good day

Well, the day began at 4:30am when I could not sleep. Did some work, research for my lessons, studied some korean, then talked to my parents and Ivano on skype... great way to start the day.

then i decided to go to the school a bit earlier and to try out the new shortcut that Sean had showed me. I ended up getting lost and taking twice as long to get to school, but eventually I figured it out and now I know how to get to school in 15minutes instead of 20! That way I can get an extra 5 minutes of sleep in the morning, which never hurts.

At the school I got to see where my classroom is going to be, go through some materials and figure out how to close the door at the end of the day. Jacky, who had never closed it before either was trying to help me and it took us like 5 minutes to figure it out. ridiculous. That door is too high tech for me. (I will try to take some pictures of the school later and post them)

After school I met up with Nick and we met Jennyfer and the bus stop. Finally met them after about a month of chatting over facebook!!! They took me to this one restaurant (don't remember the name of course) and we ate so well.... it was simply delicious. And I finally realized that if I don't get out by myself and try out these new places I will be missing out on some great foods. The food was great and inexpensive. Oh, and they taught me how to call a waiter to come over and how to order, which is basic for survival here. They both also helped me get my T-Money card, which you use to get on the buses and which too, operates some payphones in case of emergency. One more thing I need to work on- learning numbers in the thousands for when I buy stuff!!! very important. Anyways.... so we had a lovely dinner and then went to another place to get dessert. It was a mixture of ice cream, some sort of beans, fruit, cereal.... weird but really good. Oh, and the owner speaks English! It was so nice to actually be able to communicate with someone. And in this English Cafe they have this thing where if you contribute 4 hrs per month of having conversations with Koreans you get a free coupon (10,000won) every month and a 20% discounts on all their Purette Products. I might actually consider this and then maybe this way I can meet some people too! So the evening was really great because I finally got to meet Jennyfer and Nick, got to eat some great foods, orient myself a bit, see a new area, buy the T-Money card, get some tips for school and just be in great company! I was really tired by the end of the day. Went home, watched Slumdog Millionaire on my laptop and went to bed.

Today I will be doing some studying and later head out to Seoul to meet up with this girl I met through facebook that lives there. Gonna be spending Friday night through Sunday with her. Looking forward to it! Will tell you all about it when I get back

Mi avvicino a te e ti sfioro i capelli senza disturbarti. Io ti amo.
