Planning this Christmas vacation has been a bit stressful. i just realized this has been the first vacation i have actually planned by myself, as before i have had help. So part of the stressful part was that i had been trying to get work done for school and so had not had any time to plan. Ivano and i wanted to go around Korea a bit and then go to Jeju island, which i had been told was really awesome. So throughout the last week of school i really tried to do some planning, but it was unsuccessful. so it was one two days before we were supposed to leave for vacation and the only thing we had was an airplane ticket to Jeju and the hotel at jeju but nothing else. So yeah,... i was kinda in a freak out mode.
At any rate.... so the teachers at school knew i was planning a vacation so some of them gave me advice on places i could go to/cities worth visiting. So i was like... OK. we have about a week.... lets think about what we wanna do.
What i ended up deciding to do was to go to andong, then kyongju, then jeju. which seemed like a pretty reasonable plan. So at least i decided on the places. ... but... the day before we were supposed to leave all we had was the name of the cities we were going to and the the information on the bus to how to get to Andong. Other than that, no plans, no reservations (oh except one night in kyongju). but that's it. So i was kinda excited and scared. Excited cuz i had never done a vacation like this where really nothing was planned and a bit scared that things would just not work out.
