Koreans dress well. And is true for any occasion, including going for a hike in the mountains. It is not strange whatsoever, in fact- really common- to see koreans that go exercise or go hike a mountain and they are all very well dressed,... and no, I dont mean they are wearing a suit or a really nice dress or something. What I mean is, is that they wear super high fashionable exercise clothing that matches and looks super chick. So even when they exercise or hike they look nice.
i remember having a conversation with one of the english teachers at school who absolutely loves hiking and he was telling me he couldnt wait to go hiking on the weekend because he had just gotten a new $200 (approx) shirt for hiking and wanted to use it! yeah, I kid you not. True fact. I mean... spend that kinda money for something you wear that you are gonna sweat on and get nasty!??!?! i dunno about you, but it sure makes no sense to me.
