Made a new discovery

Today after school I decided to stop by the bank to check my balance since we got paid Wednesday. Just wanted to see how much money was on my account. Then, as I logged out of the atm I realized there was an option for deposit. So I re-started my log in and clicked on the "deposit" button and then it gave me the option of "cash" and "check" so, since I had 40,000 cash on my I clicked "cash" and then it said, "insert money" and so I did. Then it said "counting money" ... then "confirm amount" and I confirmed it and that was it!.... it was so simple. I had no idea I could deposit money into my account directly using the atm. And not only cash but also checks!!!! I was like wow. .... gotta love it.

on another note: as you know... i have been lazy and so have been going to the gym at night after school as opposed to early in the morning. So the owner guy/person with whom I signed up for the gym is always there at night. Now on the one side it is nice cuz he always says hello and all and wants to socialize, but on the other hand.... while he is trying to talk to me every 3 minutes I just keep thinking to myself "it's really nice that you like me and wanna talk to me and have a nice chatty time with me.... but can't you see i am working out?" Like seriously... i go to the gym to lift, not for social time. For social time I can go to a coffee shop, out for a walk, you name it! Anywho.... so then today 2 things happened.

1. he's talking to me and then he asks how old am I. So of course, as I always do to give people a hard time I said "how old do you think i am. you tell me." After which he responded "30?" When he said that, I crawled up in a ball and pretended to cry and be really upset (though jokingly really) and he was like "i am sorry!. 28?" and I said "lower"... he says "25?" I said lower.... he says "22?" after which I said "23!". He was in shock. As for me, not surprised that he guessed thirty. It's actually a huge complement after your students have told you that you are 34. hihihi.... or that time in the sauna when the old Korean ladies asked if my two 14-year old students were my daughters.... how's that for depressing! ha.

2. so now I've moved on from chest presses to triceps... again.... here's me trying to get my workout done and I can see off the corner of my eye that, yet again, he's approaching me. (as my mind thinks: here we go again!). So I turn around, take off my headset (i always listen to music when I exercise- plus, I think people get the point that I dont want to be bothered--clearly not him!)) :-) turn my head around and smile.
He says: do you drink beer?
anais: well.... sometimes
him: soju?
anais: yeah, its alright- though i prefer a good jack daniels
him: maybe next time you me hago(korean) drink.
(by the way, we always speak a mix of english and korean-his eng is very poor and so is my korean)
anais: sure, let me know when
him: next tuesday?
anais: (after thinking about my full schedule and if I have time) ... yeah, that works
him: 8:30 meet here?
anais: ok

so now i figure, maybe he can get his talking done at least over drinks and not while I am trying to exercise. The only thing that I kept thinking about is that it will be strange i guess hanging out with him given that he barely speaks English and I barely speak Korean.... so I currently have no idea how we are going to communicate, but I guess somehow we will manage to chat, hang out, and hopefully have a good time.
