Success

Today, for the first time, I used my rice cooker! I was nervous cuz I couldnt remember if it was one cup of rice per one cup of water or once cup of rice, two cups of water.... anyways.... i put two cups of water and two cups of rice and guess what..... my rice came out super well! I am SO excited about this cuz it means i can start experimenting with some basic cooking instead of always eating out or buying stuff. Totally cool. I know it may not seem like a huge deal to many of you, but to me finally having successfully used my rice cooker is like a huge step in my daily life. hehehhe.... So yeah, that was my discovery of the day.

btw. Today was the orientation to my salsa class. The kids seemed not super excited about learning how to dance but at least they tried. I think it will be a good class.

Oh and guess what... not sure if I had mentioned but great Korean weather decided it would snow again this past week and it looks like tonight there is a storm coming. The sky is super grey. Yucky! I hate this weather. depresses me. Though it is not any more depressing than Ohio weather. The good thing about the day though was, that my private got cancelled (unfortunately Honyong got sick)- hope he gets better. But at least this gave me a chance to stay at school a bit longer and get more work done AND to do laundry AND try out my whole rice cooker thing. Pretty nifty.

So now that im done loading up on carbs (i ate some bread and rice) im gonna go to the bathroom, go brush my teeth, pee, and then gonna sleep for about 4 hrs. That way I will be rested and ready to go dancing :-) bye bye
