After a lovely evening with Wang teacher I decided to stop by the home plus before heading home, as there were a couple things I needed to get. Now, I usually do not go to home plus at night cuz im lazy (it opens until midnight) so i never really get to see it when its about to close. But this time I did. What I observed was the following:
there are many little stores that you walk by before going to the escalator that takes you downstairs. These sell things from hats, hair stuff, candles, purses etc ... well, i thought it was really funny, as I was leaving, that all these little stores do to "close shop" or "protect" i guess their merchandise is to throw a blanket over the stuff. So literally there will be all these purses and shoes and all and a blanket around the business or for the hats.... just a blanket thrown over them. I Thought that was hilarious cuz if you were in mexico the next day there would probably be nothing there! but i guess korea is pretty safe and so just putting a blanket on top of your stuff or around it makes it safe enough and people just dont steal stuff.
